What I Do

The Day Job
I manage and deliver digital marketing from end to end – across the elements that make up the digital channel including:
- project delivery – scoping, defining, architecture, design, development, testing and implementation
- content management – CMS selection and management, global and multi-lingual content, compliant and search optimised, video and webcasting
- email marketing – vendor selection and management, campaigns, client servicing, personalisation
- advertising – media schedule management, design, campaign management and agency management
- search – management across natural, paid and site search
- social – strategy, internal evangelism, community building, industry communication
- analytics and reporting – website, content, user, campaign analysis and reporting
- infrastructure and performance monitoring – hosting management, development, monitoring and enhancing
- digital team management – managing UK and global digital marketing resource
Plus competitor monitoring, trend spotting, multi channel thinking, budget management and arranging the occasional peer group meetup.
Not the Day Job
- spend time with my lovely wife and children
- develop and manage the St John’s Egham website
- consume way too many RSS and Twitter feeds – then share the ones I find interesting
- write the occasional blog post
- build the occasional WordPress website
